The first ever Max & Mina Ice Cream Eating Contest was held in New York City. All the heavy hitters attended including Lerman, Booker, Feingold, Dog Anter and Crazy Kevin.

This contest has to be one of the hardest contests to win. At the end of 12 minutes the contest was over. The BBC was there filming the contest for a documentary on competitive eating. Ed "Cookie" Jarvis was awarded with the win and a world record of 6lbs. 14oz. which is one gallon nine ounces. Don Lerman ate an even gallon. Max & Mina's made my own flavor in my honor called "Ed Cookie Flash".
